Estevan Graphic Press Ltd. respects your privacy. This page explains what we collect, why we collect it, who we share it with, and what you can ask us to do about it.
Who we are
Estevan Graphic Press Ltd., 216 Souris Avenue, Estevan, SK S4A 1J7. You can reach us at 306-634-2822 or print@graphicpress.ca. We are responsible for the personal information described here.
What we collect
We only collect what we need to quote, print and deliver your work.
- When you request a quote:your name, business name, email address, phone number, what you’d like printed, and any notes or artwork files you attach.
- When you become a customer: billing and shipping addresses, order history, proofs, and the contact details of the people we deal with at your business.
- When you use the customer portal: your login email and a securely hashed password. If you save a card for automatic payments, the card itself is stored by our payment processor, not by us. We only keep a token and the last four digits.
- When you opt in to our mailing list: your name and email address.
- Automatically: standard web server logs (IP address, browser type, pages visited) and analytics. We also record the IP address a quote request came from, purely to identify and block spam.
Why we collect it
- To prepare quotes and produce, invoice and deliver your orders.
- To contact you about a job: proofs, questions, and letting you know it’s ready.
- To keep the business records we’re required to keep, including for tax purposes.
- To send marketing email, but only if you have asked us to.
- To keep the website working, secure, and free of spam.
Marketing email and consent
We only add you to our mailing list if you ask us to, by ticking the box on the quote form, or by telling us directly. We never pre-tick that box, and we don’t add you just because you placed an order.
Every marketing email includes an unsubscribe link, and unsubscribing takes effect straight away. You can also email print@graphicpress.caand we’ll remove you. Withdrawing marketing consent doesn’t affect emails about work in progress: proofs, order updates and invoices are part of the job you asked us to do.
Who we share it with
We do not sell your personal information, ever. We share it only with the service providers we need to run the business:
- Stripe: card payments and stored payment methods.
- MailerLite: our mailing list, if you’ve opted in.
- Microsoft: our business email.
- Twilio: text message notices, if you’ve opted in to those.
- Canada Post and couriers: delivery addresses for shipped orders.
- Google: website analytics.
We may also disclose information where the law requires it. Some of these providers store data outside Canada, which means it may be accessible to the courts and authorities of those countries.
Your artwork and files
Files you send us are used to produce your job and nothing else. We keep them so you can reorder without resending artwork. Files attached to a quote request that never becomes a job are removed within 24 hours if the request isn’t submitted, and are deleted with the request once it’s closed. Ask us at any time and we’ll delete your artwork. Just be aware that reprints will then need fresh files.
We don’t use your artwork or your name as a sample or in our own advertising without asking you first.
How long we keep it
Quote requests that don’t become orders are kept for about two years so we can pick up a conversation where it left off. Order, invoice and tax records are kept for seven years, as Canadian tax rules require. Mailing list entries are kept until you unsubscribe.
Cookies and analytics
This site uses cookies that are necessary for it to work, for example keeping you signed in to the customer portal. We also use analytics to understand which pages people find useful. You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings; the site will still work, but the portal won’t be able to keep you signed in.
We don’t run advertising trackers or sell audience data to advertisers.
How we protect it
The site and portal are served over encrypted connections. Passwords are stored hashed, never in plain text. Card numbers never touch our systems. Access to customer records is limited to the staff who need it to do their jobs. No system is perfectly secure, but if a breach ever put your information at real risk of harm, we will tell you and the Privacy Commissioner, as the law requires.
Your rights
You can ask us to:
- Tell you what personal information we hold about you.
- Give you a copy of it.
- Correct anything that’s wrong.
- Delete it, where we’re not required by law to keep it.
- Stop sending you marketing email.
Email print@graphicpress.ca or call 306-634-2822. We’ll respond within 30 days. If you’re not satisfied with how we’ve handled it, you can complain to the Office of the Privacy Commissioner of Canada.
Children
This is a business-to-business website and isn’t directed at children. We don’t knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 13.
Changes to this policy
If we change how we handle personal information, we’ll update this page and change the date at the top. Material changes will be communicated to customers directly.
